Gifts of books and other materials are accepted with the provision that their use or disposal is subject to the discretion of the library Director.
Upon request, a letter acknowledging receipt of the donated items will be sent to the donor; however, the library does not specify a monetary value on the items.
The library does not buy private libraries or any items offered for sale by citizens clearing their attics, with the possible exception of local history materials unavailable through regular library channels.
