Thanks to a grant from the federal Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), awarded by the State Library of Ohio, the Garnet A. Wilson Public Library is pleased to announce the purchase of a new state-of-the-art microfilm scanner/printer for the genealogy room at the Waverly Branch. 

The new scanner significantly enhances public access to microfilm historical records, local newspapers, and genealogical materials that are vital to researchers, students, and community members exploring family and Pike County history. With improved image quality, large viewing screen, faster scanning speeds, printing capabilities and user-friendly digital features, the device makes it easier than ever to view, save, and print archival documents.
